Medications Requested

If medication is recommended I much prefer to ask your GP to initiate and adjust the drug doses. This ensures continuity of supply and keeps your GP fully informed of your medication and able to help with any problems should they arise. If urgent treatment is required I can fax my recommendation to your GP straight after the consultation. I can issue a private prescription if preferred, but you should be aware that GPs are not then obliged to transfer this to an NHS prescription.
